What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Please arrive no earlier than 4:30pm and no later than 4:45pm as the ceremony will start at 5:00pm sharp.
Please also allow ample time to find parking as there is no parking on-site at the venue.
There are several parking garages within walking distance of the venue.
Please take a look at our suggested parking locations.

To fully embrace this special moment, the bride and groom are requesting an unplugged ceremony.

Please turn off all phones and cameras during the ceremony so we can be fully present together.

Does the venue have parking or is there parking close to the venue?

While the venue itself does not have parking on-site, there are several parking garages within walking distance of the venue.
Please take a look at our suggested parking locations.
The closest parking garage is a 4 minute walk to the venue.
Please allow ample time for traffic and to find parking to ensure you are not late for the ceremony.
Late guests will be held downstairs until after the ceremony is over.

What is the dress code?

Formal attire REQUIRED. Use this as your chance to go all out and get glam!


Ladies: Floor length gowns - ABSOLUTELY NO white, black, olive green or brightly colored gowns.
Gentlemen: Dark colored, full suits - ABSOLUTELY NO black or light colored suits.
ABSOLUTELY NO casual wear (jeans, t-shirts, short or casual dresses) or bright colors will be permitted.

What colors can I wear?

The bride and groom kindly ask that all guests (both male and female) wear deep, fall colors. Please see requested color palette below.

ABSOLUTELY NO white, black, olive green or brightly colored gowns. ABSOLUTELY NO black or light colored suits.

Where is the reception?

The ceremony and reception will both be held at Altar 230 Pine Ave, Long Beach, CA


Are children allowed?

Our wedding is strictly adults only. We thank you in advance for your understanding.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

All festivities will take place indoors.

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

We will be serving light passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour along with a coffee bar for those needing an extra caffeine boost to prep for the reception, followed by a buffet dinner, dessert and an end of night surprise!

There will be vegan and vegetarian options both during cocktail hour and dinner.

I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What is the best way to let you know?

While we've tried to preemptively cover vegan and vegetarian dietary restrictions, please email us at lorijessewedding@gmail.com to notify us of other food allergies or restrictions we may be unaware of.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! Cocktail hour will include not only a full, open bar featuring signature cocktails, but also a coffee, tea and latte bar!
Tipping for both is optional, but not required.
